Here are the steps for you to change the settings on Outlook manually.

  • Open Outlook and click on the File tab and then click on the Account Settings.
  • Now, go More Settings and then select the Outgoing server.
  • Now, click on checkbox ‘My Outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication’ and then also select checkbox ‘log on to incoming server before sending mail’ option.

  • Incoming mail server: imap.mail.att.net
