Rafael Ilishayev, co-founder of GoPuff, discusses what the company plans to do with BevMo, the largest liquor chain in California.

GoPuff, a delivery company that specializes in alcohol and convenience items, recently acquired more than 100 BevMo liquor stores. The move has caused some to speculate about the company’s plans for the future.

In an interview with Business Insider, Ilishayev said that GoPuff plans to use the BevMo locations as “hubs” for its delivery business.

“We’re excited to have a larger footprint in California and to be able to serve even more customers,” he said.

Ilishayev also said that GoPuff is not planning to compete with traditional liquor stores.

“Our focus is on providing a convenient, hassle-free experience for our customers,” he said.

Ilishayev says that GoPuff is looking to tap into the $250 billion alcohol market in the United States. The company plans to use its technology and logistics expertise to make it easier for customers to get their hands on their favorite alcoholic beverages.

GoPuff also plans to use BevMo’s brick-and-mortar locations as a way to reach more customers. Ilishayev says that the company is currently working on a plan to launch an online ordering system that will allow customers to order from BevMo’s website and have their order delivered to their door.

Ilishayev says that the company is also working on a way to offer customers loyalty rewards for ordering from BevMo. He says that the company plans to launch this program in the coming months.
